Love Bytes

"Love Bytes" was inspired by both the inner workings of the Paintbox system and my lifelong connection to graphics cards. While digital art often emphasizes software, it's the hardware-the unseen circuitry beneath it all-that truly powers the work. In many ways, the motherboard acts as a co-parent to the artwork: holding the system together and giving it life. Creating this piece within Paintbox felt surprisingly similar to traditional painting-deliberate, constrained, and without the luxury of an "undo" button. I approached it like a blank canvas, building it up chip by chip, wire by wire, until a portrait of the machine's heart emerged.
