NimTeens
A collection of 400 on-chain, generative cumulonimbus teenagers — the awkward sequel to NimBuds. The cloud babies have grown up, and they're ready for their class photo.
About the Project
NimTeens is the sequel to NimBuds — Bryan Brinkman's beloved generative cloud characters. Two years after the original mint, the cloud “babies” have matured into awkward teenagers, complete with new traits like peach fuzz, acne, and oversized glasses. They're ready for their class photo.
The collection is a creative commentary on how fast the NFT ecosystem has grown — sometimes clumsily — since NimBuds launched in January 2021. Just as teenagers go through growing pains, so too has the Web3 space experienced its own period of rapid, awkward maturation.
As Brinkman put it: “The Web3 and NFT space has changed dramatically in the two years since we released NimBuds. Art Blocks has grown into one of the most respected and profitable projects in the ecosystem.”
In a meaningful gesture, 10% of all NimTeens sales were donated to The Trevor Project, a suicide-prevention nonprofit — reflecting the values of community and care at the heart of the project.
