Archetypes Of The Metaverse is a collaboration with NFTBoxes by Pranksy — eight illustrated character archetypes representing the personalities and roles that define the NFT ecosystem. From The Artist to The Reply Guy, each piece is a portrait of the metaverse’s inhabitants.
About the Collection
Every community has its cast of characters — the builders, the dreamers, the hustlers, and the trolls. Archetypes Of The Metaverse captures that energy in eight illustrated trading-card-style portraits, each representing a distinct persona that shapes the NFT space.
The series started as loose concept sketches exploring the idea of distilling the entire NFT community down to its core character types. Who are the people that make this world run? What drives them? The result is a set of archetypes that anyone in the space will instantly recognise: The Artist who creates, The Collector who curates, The Builder who ships, The Broker who deals, The Curator who discovers, The Influencer who amplifies, The Gambler who risks it all, and The Reply Guy who never logs off.
Distributed exclusively through NFTBoxes by Pranksy as part of the Virtual Identity Box, the collection comprises 172 total editions across the eight pieces — a mix of editions of 21 and 22 — minted as ERC-721 tokens on Ethereum. Each card is a standalone illustration, but together they form a complete portrait of the metaverse’s inhabitants and the roles we all play in this digital frontier.
