The Cloudy Collection is Bryan Brinkman’s first edition series on NiftyGateway, released on Halloween 2020. Three looping cloud animations — Breezy, Overcast, and Downpour — capture shifting skies in Brinkman’s signature hand-drawn style.
About the Collection
Minted on October 31, 2020, The Cloudy Collection marked Brinkman’s entry into the edition market on NiftyGateway. Each piece depicts a different cloud mood: Breezy drifts with gentle calm, Overcast broods with heavier skies, and Downpour unleashes a full storm.
The collection established the playful, character-driven aesthetic that would carry through every subsequent NiftyGateway drop — from Flicker Fusion and The Sub-liminal Collection to CTRL and Tragic Pop. As Brinkman’s very first editions, these three animations hold a special place in the arc of his career.
